Function Key ‍Shortcut:

F1 = Help
Ctrl+F1: displays or hides the ribbon.
Alt+F1: Show & Hide Navigation Pan in outlook.
Alt+Shift+F1: moves to the previous field.
Ctrl+Shift+F1 = Show & Hide Tabs & Commands Bar


F2 alone = Selected text or graphics can be moved by pressing F2 alone. To move the text or graphic, use the arrow keys to place the cursor at the desired location, then press Enter to activate the step or press Esc to cancel it.

Ctrl+F2 = For rewrite the previous word.
Alt+Shift+F2: saves the document.

প্রথমে Alt + V চাপুন।   তারপর P চাপলে  Print Layout
W চাপলে  Web Layout তারপর, আবার Alt + V বাটনে ক্লিক করে P চাপলে
Print Layout প্রিন্ট লে-আউটে চলে আসবে।

  • Table Related Shortcut:

    • We can create tables using plus sign (+) and dash sign (-). Start and end with a plus sign. Use the dash sign (-) between the two plus signs, then press Enter. You will see a table is created. As shown below.

    • For Select the content in the next cell. You Can Press only “Tab” key.
    • Select the content in the previous cell. You Can Press “Shift+Tab” Keys.
    • For Extend a selection to adjacent cells. You Can Press “Shift+Arrow” keys
    • For Select a column.You Can do it: Select the top or bottom cell of the column, and then press Shift+Up or Down arrow key
      For Move to the first cell in the row. You Can press Alt+Home
      For Move to the last cell in the row. You Can Press Alt+End
    • For Move to the first cell in the column. You Can Press Alt+Page up
      For Move to the last cell in the column. You Can Press Alt+Page down
    • For Move to the previous row. You Can Press Up arrow key
      For Move to the next row. You Can Press Down arrow key
    • For Move one row up. You Can Press. Alt+Shift+Up arrow key
    • For Move one row down. You Can Press Alt+Shift+Down arrow key
    • How to select a column:
      Step 1: Place the mouse cursor on the top border of the first row of the column you want to select completely.
      Step 2: You will see your mouse cursor turn into an arrow symbol.
      Final Step: After the mouse cursor turns into an arrow, click the left button of your mouse. You will see that the entire column will be selected. For example: as shown in the figure below.

  • Similarly we can select row. However, to select rows, double click as shown below.

  • For Select the whole table: Press “Alt+5” together on the numeric keypad, with Num Lock switched off.
  • For Insert a tab character in a cell press “Ctrl+Tab”
  • For Insert new row: Place the Mouse cursor on the right side of the last row of the table and click Enter. A new row will be added to the bellow.   নতুন রো বা সারি বাড়ানোর জন্য।
  • To split the table: Press Shift+Ctrl+Enter to split the table. For example: as shown below.
  • To move the whole rows:
  • Place the mouse cursor in the row you want to move. Then hold Alt+Shift together. Now you can move the “Row” to your specific target by using up-arrow and down-arrow keys.
  • For Cell Marge: First select the cells you want to merge. Then click “Alt” once,then click “JL”once, then click M once.
  • For Change text direction: Right click on the selected table to change autofit.  And go to Autofit and select your preferred option. Right click on the selected text in the table to change the direction of the text. And select your preferred text direction.
  • Convert text to table: At First Select the text then Click Ctrl+A, Then Alt, N, t, v, Enter.
  • Convert table to text: First place the mouse cursor inside the table. Then click Alt, then JL, then V, then click Enter. You will see the table converted to text.
